PRESENTATIONS | SLIDE DECKS
NY-GEO 2024 Brooklyn Title Slide please use this slide for the opening of your presentation and this layout example as a guide. NY-GEO 2024 Brooklyn Title Slide Layout Example We want all the title slides (your first slide for the whole presentation) to be in the conference format only; your content slides do not need to be in the conference template - they can have your organization's template.
Design Track Speaker (PDH Credit) - Presentation submission deadline is September 15th. Send your presentations to John Rath and/or contact him if you have questions. Good idea to copy John Ciovacco too - jciovacco@aztechgeo.com
All Other Track Speakers/Moderators/Panelist - Get presentations to John Ciovacco by October 1st. Moderators - Collect the presentations from your panelists and put them in a single PowerPoint presentation in the order the panelists will present.
All Speakers - The NY-GEO Conference Staff does our best to be flexible if you have changes to your presentation after you have submitted. We want updated content but please try to get it to us 24 hours before your presentation and always bring your final presentation to the session on a memory stick as a backup. Thanks!
Remember - Always a good idea to bring your presentation on a memory stick to your session in case the wheels come off!
AUDIO-VISUAL EQUIPMENT
Each presentation room will have the following equipment available:
- Laptop computer equipped with Microsoft PowerPoint / Adobe Acrobat Pro
- Projector, screen, wireless slide advance with laser pointer
- Lectern with microphone and 2 or more hand held microphones
- Computer audio if you must...
- Try to avoid showing videos or anything with audio output. We don't have a good track record of making that work reliably! We should be able to do it if it's central to your presentation, please let John Ciovacco know well in advance.
- Bring your presentation on a memory stick with you as a backup
QUESTIONS?
